Hosting events
I am a highly experienced chair of conferences and summits of all sizes, from
audiences of a few dozen to 1,300. I hosted the main stage at NHS Expo,
chaired the Electoral Commission’s International Observers Programme for
the EU referendum and 2015 general election and led the NHS England
AGM.
I bring pace and energy, engage with the speakers to bring out the best in
them and involve the audience in lively debate.
Chairing online conferences and round tables
I can help you bring a professional touch to your online conference or round
table. I take my chairing skills online with 4K quality streaming, studio lights
and green screen, backed up by my usual attention to detail in programme
development and event preparation.
Developing programmes
I develop the programmes for major conferences and events, drawing on
expert knowledge and contacts to devise stimulating content which will drive
delegate numbers. Events I have worked on include the NICE annual
conference and summits for Dods Parliamentary Communications.
Speaking
I am an engaging, knowledgeable and experienced speaker on the NHS,
local government, leadership and public service reform. I speak at both public
and private sector events, illuminating my talks with insights, analysis and
stories.
Facilitating
I work with public and private sector teams to design and run workshops and
development programmes. I create an energetic, creative and engaged
environment to ensure every participant feels involved, valued and motivated.
Leading board debates
I lead discussions with boards and senior management teams about the
latest developments in the NHS and local government and what they mean
for their organisations. I have extensive experience of the relationship
between the public and private sectors, and the implications of policy
changes and the financial climate.
